Mission Kids  (Family Ministry)

Mission Kids is the family ministry program at St. Philip’s.  It is said that “faith is caught, not taught.”  And we know that the primary place children learn faith is alongside their parents and peers.  Thus, we’ve created an intentional ministry to build relationships, to learn, and to serve so that families can raise their children alongside of other families who can love and support that faith development. This ministry is a continuation of the Kids Club Ministry (our Sunday School for our young kids: Sundays at 9:15am) families and children.

This is a thriving group that knows how to have FUN! We have a bunch of young kids and families that love getting together and being a community! We have events every month and we have the best time! From apple picking adventures, to making Valentine’s Day cards to the homebound, to finger painting wall hangings around the church, to our Annual Easter Egg Hunt with the Youth Group, to the Mission Kids’ moms getting together to drink wine and paint (because we can!); it’s so great to be a part of the Mission Kids ministry! And you are welcome to come join us! You won’t regret it!

Information goes out each week in the weekly church email about current events for this group.  It is always changing so if you need to get on that list, contact the church office.
